While Fox has announced that "The O.C." will end in February, there's also some interesting entertainment news on the music front:
Smash!
News has been out for a while about the Smashing Pumpkins reuniting.
Now, Billy Corgan has made some comments on the band's myspace site.
As an article over at billboard.com says, it's only known that Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain are in the band.
As the myspace site says, "Who's in the band?" "Not telling."
Hopefully, the band will return to their old hard-edged sound instead of the poppy, mechanized version we heard on "Machina."
Reunited?
Rumors are also swirling that a reunion of Police could be just around the corner.
I think Sting's solo career has slowed in recent years, so this would be a nice pick-me-up for all involved.
