Richard Patrick interview

I just got off the phone after a 25-minute interview with Army of Anyone singer Richard Patrick (also the frontman of Filter).

I can easily say it was one of the best interviews I've done - easily in the top 10.

Patrick was laid back, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable of the music business.

His passion for music is easily felt when you talk to him.

Aside from the usual questions about the upcoming tour, the new album and the future of Filter, he also talked about how much the music business has changed from the days when he was in Nine Inch Nails, just starting out.

It's going to be tough to cut it all down to a 12-inch story for the paper, but it will get done.

So, thanks go to Richard. I can't wait to see the show.

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
