Spears' album doomed?

A post by Cindy Adams says Britney Spears' new album is on hold because the record label isn't pleased with early results.

Apparently, they're also worried that the former teen queen has been partying too much and harming her image with fans.

So, they don't know if they should dump her or just dump the first few tracks.

Personally, I find it sad and humorous.

I think Britney's career hit a dead end when she got married to a backup dancer, a la Jennifer Lopez.

Spears was never a singer - she was an entertainer. She lip-synched her way into the hearts of millions, but never had the vocal talent.

Now, she's got to create something new. Her greatest hits album bombed, as did her ex-husband's album.

It's going to take a lot more than a snake around her neck this time.

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
