Tonight is the season premiere of "American Idol," the world's biggest karaoke contest.
Sure, there's a live band, instead of a machine playing the music (during the final rounds, at least), but it's basically a karaoke contest.
Play guitar? They don't care.
Play harmonica? They don't care.
Just get up and sing.
First, they have to make fun of the horrific singers who think they have talent, but are strangely confused.
Let the fun begin, once again...
