Wow - I didn't see this one coming...
With a solo album due in May, and siting personality and musical differences, Chris Cornell has "permanently" quit Audioslave.
He told Billboard.com, "This is something I don't want to do anymore."
The other three members will reunite with Rage Against the Machine singer Zach De La Rocha at Coachella in April.
I'm sad to see this happen, as I thought Audioslave was a solid music producing group.
However, if this means a revitalized Rage - I'm all for it.
