« No surprises on "Idol" | Main | CD Review: Harry Connick Jr. "Oh My Nola" »

No surprises on "Idol"

I can't say I was surprised by any of the eliminations last night on "American Idol."

Nicole Tranquillo hurt herself with a horrible song choice. Whether or not it was too "urban," as Simon said didn't matter. It just wasn't a good choice.

Amy Krebs wasn't the worst of the bunch, but she had a few bad notes and her vocals were weak enough to be voted out.

Rudy Cardenas wasn't bad either, but wasn't great. Actually, none of the guys were really great, so it was anyone's guess who was going to be voted out.

Paul Kim was a little too soft vocally. It wasn't horrible, but again, wasn't great. I wasn't a fan of all the vibrato, anyway.

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
