Duke lacrosse

Anyone care to comment on today's Duke lacrosse team editorial?

The student newspaper, the Duke Chronicle, has been providing good coverage.

Its Web site includes a disturbing story that begins:

"Durham Police Department officers approached residents outside houses on N. Buchanan Boulevard shortly after 6 p.m. Friday night, telling them that there were threats of gang violence targeted at Duke students."

So these two "exotic dancers" working ("working girls?") their way through college for an "escort service" who get paid to get naked with large groups of males are complaining of sexual shenanigans?
Sounds more like a billing/payment dispute to me...

I will not buy a lotto ticket, but I make a bet this is pure BS. Did not the same thing happen to Duke basketball some years ago????

There will be a backlash when people find out the Media hasn't been reporting any of this stuff while reporting private information on the Duke players that are, in some cases, teenagers.

Seems the accuser - the Darling of the Media - has larceny on her record and she tried to Run over a Police officer.

Those open-containers and underage drinking citations are looking pretty good right now.

The players Said the woman arrived DRUNK or HIGH... Well, her 3 license suspensions certainly fit into that scenario.

The DA told reporters and, the N&O reported that she said she had never danced for a group before.

Turns out Mother Teresa has been stripping at strip clubs and at private parties for over 5 years under the name - Crystal Magnum.

I wonder what all the journalists that pointed to underage drinking citations as examples of thugery will have to say about their new Hero.

All we've heard is that she's a single mother working her way through college. Looks like she's a stripper working to feed her addiction. What will they say about her trying to run over a COP? Single Mother, Stripper, Junkie, profiling?

The other stripper's record is even worse.

And the other stripper drove to Kroger and asked a security guard to call 911 to get the woman out of her car when she had a Cell phone with her and a police station was less than a mile away. But the media has known all this for quite some time.

What morally bankrupt people we have that laud her stripping to support her out of wedlock children. Maybe we can call her a hero. Maybe we'll congratulate people that do drugs to pay their way through college. The lacrosse team is innocent until proven guilty but Jesse Jackson and his goons don't understand that.

There's two people charged with RAPE and KIDNAPPING that were randomly pointed to out of a team photo of ONLY LACROSSE PLAYERS! The photos shown to her were not even of all the people at the party, and also not the whole lacrosse team was there.

There's no physical evidence, absolutely no indication that a rape even occured, so how in hell does somebody get charged with such an offense that can result in LIFE IN PRISON?!?

Since the DA is a corrupt goony, the defense should motion for dismissal in the first day of the trial, citing lack of evidence. Then the police department should file charges against Crystal Magnum for false report of a crime, inciting false arrest, and racial bias in commission of a crime, a HATE crime. She should serve 5 years MINIMUM in a maximum security prison.

The DA, who hopefully will be defeated in the upcoming election, should then be charged with corruption and making decisions for political gain. For his crimes he should serve 10 years minimum.

All the media, including Al Sharpton, who have libeled and slandered about the accused should be charged with defamation of character, and serve time/probation as well.

The players charged should have their record completely cleared, and any mention of their name by the media in context of the false rape allegation should be charged as an offense of broadcast rights, as well as a misdemeanor by the person doing so.

THAT will teach all would be false rape victims to be SURE when they make such a serious allegation.
