Red, white and blue flags

CNN's Lou Dobbs sees a radical, left-wing agenda behind today's immigration demonstrations.

I don't doubt there's an element of that.

Indeed, some of Greensboro's left-wing radicals attended today's rally at the governmental plaza downtown, handing out socialist literature and red flags.

Rally leaders, however, asked the crowd NOT to wave those red flags, proclaiming "that's not what this is about today."

There were many more American flags on display.

If these immigrants really hated America, they probably wouldn't be here.

Just an element Doug? In Asheville the usual farleft nutzoids were there. The ones that show up for any and all demonstrations that are anti- American in any form. The latte, birkenstocker, granola's left over from the 70's and the new breed Yuppies. The burned out potheads, lost in space hippies from the 60's. The socialist party groups doing as they always do, handing out some kind of nonsense denouncing everything, since they are anti-everthing except anti. And the usual number of Wiccan and New Agers who will march to any drum as long as they get a bit of attention. How many Hispanics? Maybe half the number at the local event were Hispanic, the rest were made up of the above. Of course the ACT made it out to be really big. From those who work downtown, the news is it was a joke. Only one lone protester against the protest stood his ground in the Square but I swear he lives there. Shopping in the area there were as many hispanics as usual on Monday. At the work places few were absent. The comment here was about like it was in most places, we got family to feed. Of course California, the only place that I know that people grow on trees and nutz walk the streets was running over with protesters. It's easier to get welfare there I suppose than it is here. Or perhaps it is guarenteed by those who insist on the demands called for by the protesters. Just seems to be more slavery to me, but then wasn't that just suppose to be a southern thing? Guess not anymore huh.

I'm sure the socialist/anti-Bush people were disappointed by yesterday's rally here. No one was paying attention to them. I mean, who would come to this country and join a socialist revolution? For that, they should go to Cuba or Venezuala. Bush's immigration proposals, in fact, were applauded.
