Welcome to Tawana Two.!!!

The difference: There was no Mike Nifong in the Tawana Brawley case and no indictments.

The accused in the Tawana Brawley & Rev Al Sharpton show later sued for defamation of character against the two and won.
Of course, the Duke trio, who in my opinion will be acquitted or even have their case vacated before trial, will probably have legal recourse against the accuser. Of course, what monetary funds are you gonna get from an "entertainer" if your case prevails, unless you feel compelled to sue on principle alone.

Indictments are easy to come by and can be based on the most flimsy of even non-evidence. Such as there was some DNA similar to one of one of the accused found. Considering that the accused lived in the house and the accuser was in the house, DNA similar to the accused would be minimal credible evidence at best but enough to allow for an indictment. But then I suppose that would also depend on the makeup of the Grandjury. Conviction on such flimsiness is another story. I see the train running off the track already. Hang on for the big train wreck and the chaos to follow. Nifong is in for a long recovery if he ever recovers at all.
