Campus safety issues may require the police

Our editorial today.

When should police be summoned to college campuses, when not?

What about in relation to recent events at Guilford College?

One of our main points: Students can and should call 911 themselves when they think police are needed.

No campus is isolated from the community around it, nor is it outside the jurisdiction of its local law-enforcement agency.*GN&R

The last time I check, GC was not a independent nation in Greensboro nor have they left the State of North Carolina.

You really don't want the Detriot cops running Greensboro do you? After all, the only sure bet in this country is that " Somebody will be shot in Detriot today"
