Does this make sense?
What does Dave Barry say? I am not making this up:
The regional government in Wallonia, Belgium, has approved a tax of 20 euros on outdoor barbecuing to curtail greenhouse gas emissions, according to news reports.
"The local authorities plan to monitor compliance with the new tax legislation from helicopters, whose thermal sensors will detect burning grills."
Well, maybe they can use the barbecue tax to buy carbon credits for those helicopters.

The smart move would be to invite the crew down for a cookout.

This law gives a whole new meaning to the term "steak out."

With their airborne heat sensor, they also could be crashing some hot tub parties.
But I suppose there will be a hot tub tax as well.

Well, expect AlGore to spend a gazillion dollars flying his private jet to Belgium to sell them Carbon Credits...

Experts said that between 50 and 100 grams of CO2, a so-called greenhouse gas, is emitted during barbequing. Beginning June 2007, residents of Wallonia will have to pay 20 euros for a grilling session.* Global 666 communications
Well there goes my investment in Texas Charlie Steak House. They had 27 locations pick in Wallonia and had a side dish called Golden Pot....I guess they can move to Denmark and make a killing in pork and down men in Black warm over.
