Wrong this time, Al

Just because Al Sharpton was right about Don Imus doesn't mean he's not still an idiot and a hypocrite.

Unlike Imus, he won't even take responsibility for his stupid remark about Mitt Romney.

Sharpton said, "As for the one Mormon running for office, those that really believe in God will defeat him anyway, so don't worry about that. That's a temporary situation."* Moses and Great Architect Big Al

Look Doug! Big Al has more faith in his Great Architect God than Mitt does about who has the weirdest religion between the both of them. Besides when Big Al God beat the crap out of Imus " baby sweet Jesus" God last month. It only makes sense that it would go to Big Al head once more in religious wars and politics.

I couldn't agree with you more, Doug. Sharpton is one of the biggest bigots this country has right now.

It's sad that he gets the air time he does.

Doug said:

I don't think Sharpton's comment was as offensive as Imus', but it appeared to be a deliberate attempt to mischaracterize Mormons' beliefs and therefore purposefully prejudice people's views against Mitt Romney. I think he's being dishonest when he protests that's not what he meant.

I'm surprised that Rev. Sharpton would say something that offensive smearing his political colleague, Sen. Harry Reid, also a Mormon.

Doug said:

Sharpton didn't put that much thinking into his statement. He just spewed out some spontaneous bigotry, in my opinion.
