Vision

Mayoral candidates Yvonne Johnson and Milton Kern offer vision statements for Greensboro.

The candidate's "vision" statements are vague to the point of being useless (as are most statements of this type). I guess we should be glad that neither of the candidates espoused ritual sacrifice or pogroms as a means of moving Greensboro forward; beyond this, we just don't get much information.

I hope that future questions will be more specific, such as asking the candidates their plans for promoting development and jobs, improving education, and reducing racial tensions.

Thanks, Dave. We intend to get there, except on education we have to realize that the city of Greensboro doesn't have responsibility for schools.
