Tip or tell

The Hillary tip tiff is going to be very good for wait staff in primary and caucus states.

Every time a server gets stiffed by a candidate, she or he can gripe to a reporter and it will turn into a national scandal.

So, the campaigns ought to be leaving generous tips from now on.

Any waiter jobs open in Iowa?

I heard Hillary's staff left a hundred dollar tip unbeknownst to the waitresses with the restaurant manager who was supposed to divy it up among the crew. Apparently he was gonna keep it all to himself until all this stuff started unfolding.

My first thought was that a reporter or an operative from a rival campaign swiped the cash off the counter.

In 1998 Newt Gringrich was running for reelection in his district when he and his staff visited Farmer's John's eater. During the meal with interviews, Newt and his staff comment something about Gays and Women shouldn't be in the military. Newt staff left cash on the table to cover the meal cost, tip and than left.

A hour later, a group of women servers and the Gay Cook along with Gay Busboy held a press conference outside of the Eater and said Newt stiff them for the meal and tip.

The owner of Farmer's John was a redneck who was shocked to find out his workers were gay and the women servers were democrat. He fired the the whole bunch claiming it was for health reasons...3 years later after a legal hassle. The owners of Farmer John settle with the Servers and Cook for 4.5 million bucks in the civil rights claim....The busboy was not included in the settlement since he was mistaked in claiming to be a Gay after his mother found out about it from reading it in the media.

Most folks suspect the Busboy stole the meal money and tip and started the whole affair to cover his little crime.

I suspect the lawyers will be contacting the Clinton campaign__________________________________

Do the facts really matter at this point?

All candidates learned the lesson: Hand that waitress a 20 before you leave!

The tip tiff wasn't "shot down" at all, the waitress stands by her statement. Hillary did not leave this poor
waitress a tip.
Just another example of the elitist Dem mindset; Hillary and the rest are so far out of touch with the real world that it sometimes amazes me.

Aren't you going to run a correction to this post in the body of the post? That's what blogs are for. Or is this question of yours, "Do the facts really matter at this point?" indicate how you'd treat a story that wasn't about this particular candidate?

Journalism ethics; the new oxymoron.
