Bad news for Edwards

I have to retract my former prediction that John Edwards will serve as secretary of labor in Barack Obama's administration.

He's attracting too much unwanted publicity. The Charlotte Observer and News & Observer of Raleigh are pursuing the story now.

If Edwards is involved in this, he needs to stand up and take responsibility. It's inevitable that the whole truth will come out, probably sooner than later.

Dropping the Scholarship Program - http://www.wral.com/news/state/story/3306869/ - might be part of a sign that he is disappearing for now.

The story was in the N&R earlier; but not online. - that I could find.

I can't tell why it was shut down, but I did look at a couple of IRS 990 reports for its funding organization, the Center for Promise and Opportunity Foundation. The latest available is for 2006, when it made $160,029 in grants and allocations out of "total functional expenses" of $377,262.

Total expenses also included $49,613 in consulting fees, $52,827 in salaries, $36,300 in legal fees, $22,940 in accounting fees, $15,175 for conferences, conventions and meetings, $9,750 for travel and $21,025 for grant writing.

Uh-oh..don't tell JR that you're writing about this. He claims it's not "news" and refuses to print anything about it until all the facts are in. Can't arouse the ire of the liberals, ya know.

Except that we printed a story today, page A6.

If true, I really feel sorry for Elizabeth and the children. Already facing the emotional and physical strain of her fighting cancer and then the allegations surfacing of an unfaithful, selfish spouse. Must be an unbearable toll on her and her kids.

The jerk.

There's no way the Nat'l Enq. had reporters staking o
out Edwards with out cameras. Look for the full
story splash complete with Edwards panic photo's just prior to the DNC convention in a
few weeks.

Edwards is a former wide receiver in football, and he runs daily. I expect he's very fast on his feet. The photos could have been blurred.

What prediction? Any political right wing conseverative fool can see that something is very funny or weird with this picture. But the main question is this and why is it important that Brittny Spears just might be Edwards love child? Your country is going to hell in a hatbox and this is the hotest issue in America?

Good Grief! Edwards football career consisted of one walkon freshmen season at Clemson and he was cut after the first tryout 40 with a bunch of brothers who did 4.3 or under in the 40.

He couldn't dodge his way out of a Sissy Gay Vollyball [ Save the Whales] contest at Ventura Beach California.

Above's the link proving that Edward's is a sicko.

The proof's in the pudding. John's caught holding the "smoking gun."
