Fun while it lasted
A Charlotte businessman accused of claiming payments to a high-priced call-girl ring as advertising expenses on his corporate income taxes pleaded guilty Thursday to tax fraud, the Observer reports.
Man, IRS rules are tough. I bet you can't write off payoffs to a politician's girlfriend, either.

IRS? Payments to prostitutes? Businessmen?
Sort of leads one to speculate how Action G-Boro handled their Grier slush-fund that's now being revealed.

Sure you can! You can give up to 20 grand as a Gift without reporting it. Anything above that must be reported and subject to a gift tax.
However! The biggest story today is about the Cato Institute [ Neo-con Republican Think Tank in DC] biggest donor being busted for running the largest call-girl service in the history of AZ.

Oops! I forgot the name of the Cato donor who was a sponsor of Cato University, Dr Ross Levatter, was arrested for running "the biggest prostitution ring in Arizona history" and for "money laundering."
Levatter was also a frequent participant in the smearing of Ron Paul and the Lew Rockwell web site on the blog of Cato's vice president for international junketeering, hissy fitting, and slandering.
What is it with these Neo-con Republican Doctors, Like the Doctor from Raleigh who was a big donor to a certain Republican Govern Candiate and a unnamed North Carolina Think Tank?
