Panthers playoff tix? You can get scalped online, legally
Panthers' playoff tickets?
But be warned: There's no legal limit to what you might have to pay.
Thanks to N.C. General Assembly action last summer, the Charlotte Observer reports, Internet scalping is perfectly legal.
Not on the street, though. Any logical reason for that disparity?

You got that right! But let some white internet young Nerd hustle Panthers tickets , he is consider a free market wiz and a hero to millions of sports fans and what is left of the Republican poltical Bush agenda on free markets being a success.
But let one brother hustle Panther tickets on the street, the poor soul will get a life time sentence from some law and order Republican judge for not following free market rules........Any logical reason for that disparity will make one understand why the Republicans no longer share power in politics nor will they have Super Bowl tickets should the Panthers make it to Super Bowl?

Two reasons internet scalping is legal is that it creates a competitive market instead of on the street where it's more like monopoly conditions because it's hard to compare price when people aren't exactly advertising. You also are under less pressure because you're buying them in advance, not immediately before the game. This means internet prices are lower. The second is that it would be impossible to enforce internet scalping laws. Police around the stadiums at least reduce scalping.
I think internet scalping is great. Sometimes you can get great deals. I got Redskins tickets for $15 below face value.
