Good idea, Time Warner Cable.
Now, can you charge us only for the TV channels we actually watch?

GOOD CALL, DOUG!

A good idea is getting our friends from Comcast and Verizon into our market. Time to give the thieves at TWC a little old-fashioned competition.
I've already notified them of my intent to cancel their services.

Yes Doug, I'm sure they would be willing to provide your many liberal friends just the stations you watch, MSLSD, DNCTV, and Al Jazeera (When I took my wife to the Mayo Clinic 2 years ago, there were SEVEN Arabic speaking stations on the Minneapolis cable system used by our Hotel, which looked suspiciously like a Mosque from outside).
The only problem, the cost would be similar to the cost of buying all of the parts to build your own car, you know to avoid the "legacy" costs!

That sure wouldn't work if there was more than one cable company down there unless they all offered similar pricing. All the heavy users would go to the other company offering unlimited service and the light pay as you go ones would stay with Time Warner. That would I presume really kill their revenue. Monopolies can do such things though.
Tony, do you really think my dad's a liberal? I'm a liberal and we don't agree on anything political, so how do you figure?
Did that Minneapolis hotel get a lot of Arab guests? If so, supply and demand. I was in a German hotel once that had a whole bunch of English stations on the TV. Same thing.

Andrew, the Mayo Clinic is in Rotchester where two liberals live. The stations were in Minneapolis, proud home of the Somali Muslims, many of whom are missing and suspected of joining their pals fighting the Infidels, and recruiting more martyrs for the "good fight!" I guess i should have drive the 80 miles to Minneapolis since I've never seen an Al Qaeda training camp.
Okay, so your dad is David Brooks conservative, which put him slightly to the right of Joe Lieberman, but well to the left of Ann/Rush/Sean/Glenn and myself.
Finally, Andrew, You're a liberal? How would we have known. It was like when Walter Cronkite felt it necessary to admit that he was a liberal. How else would we have known. It must be that mental defect thing!

Is your dad a liberal? Do you not read his left wing BS. Not saying anything bad, about your dad. I would never do that. he just a left wing looney, heck I married one of them.
My wife who is a flaming liberal, has not renewed here two newspapers, she already knows that we conservatives are bad. So why waste her money on newspapers, who tell us that every day. I only buy the NR, because it sports section is one of the better one around.
If I owned a paper, I have at least half real reporters, give the people something to argue about. They damn well better do something, are they will no longer exist.
