Why pretend?

Maybe the networks ought to stop pretending that daily Natalee Holloway updates are the most compelling news in the world (war, what war?) and come clean that they're exploiting her case for ratings.

Go ahead and start a daily series. At least that would be honest.

Thank God CNN's morning news (the only television news I watch) has pretty much dropped this one.

Tony, don't watch it in the evening. Nancy Grace gives it a double dip on CourtTV and then flips over to CNN for a while.....or maybe it just seems that way. Everytime I flip through she seems to be on and discussing the blonde high schooler and an update from the rumour mill. Also, a running number on the days since the incident. I wonder if she would spend as much time on it if it were an African-American woman.

You mean kind of like the NR and the other liberal does Cindy Sheehan?

I'd argue that a war mother's questions about the war are far different. I'd also argue that we are obligated as citizens to ask tough questions about such matters. Doesn't mean you're liberal or conservative. It means you're paying attention and that you care.

Sigh. I do want them to find her killer(s), but I don't need a second by second account of the search. It's too much.

Mr.Johnson,
Be honest you are in the Bush trashing business. The president has meet with this lady, she came away happy. Once she got attention, she has used this to help her cause, which is ME ME ME.She had a chance to go on the NO SPIN ZONE,and she REFUSED. QUESTION? Does the president have time to meet twice with everyone that has lost a love one in combat? Her son JOINED the service and then reenlisted, my opinion he a hero. Have you noticed the love ones that lost people in the war, protesting HER?
Only if you watch FOX.If you don't want to watch
the Hollaway watch CNN,they show Sheehan all the time. That does not count on Nancy Grace, the only thing I watch on CNN except when channel hopping.
