"The Last King" rules
Saw "The Last King of Scotland" today. I didn't care for the some of the melodrama in the third act but Forrest Whitaker deserves every single accolade he gets as Idi Amin.

Allen, as far third act melo-drama, are you referring to Idi's apparent discomforture and kind of slight over-reaction to his wife's interest in "diversity"?

That, and the convenient decision of Amin's henchmen to take a halftime break during the doctor's torture/execution.

Right, that was silly. Where did they go?

I think it was a variation on the Wizard of Oz where they couldn't kill Dot...er, I mean Dorothy, until after the sand ran out of the hourglass
