Dennis Rogers of the News & Observer chronicles the ongoing struggles of an Iraq-based soldier's wife to close his Capital One credit card account.

The barbarians in the commercials are supposed to represent what happens to people without Capital One cards.

Based on this story, you've got to wonder.

Credit card companies, are a tuff act. My wife applied for a credit card to receive some kind of junk. She was refused the card. Since she had no credit problems, she decided to find out why. After months ( she as bull headed as me) they told her you pay your bills on time and we can not make in money on you. Go figure!
