A running commentary
Interesting sights along one of my morning running routes:
An unusually high number of dead animals in the street, especially rabbits and possums.
A residence with the 10 Commandments posted out front (aha; now there's one place where it makes perfect sense to do that).
An empty rental house in a nearby neighbrhood has been marked with graffiti.
Sigh.

Allen, sounds like you have the start of a post-apocalyptic novel going here. Rough weekend, huh? By all means continue.

Actually, we have the 10 Commandments posted on our refrigeration. That was in response to the realization that I could not remember the 10 Commandments, but do know The Twelve Days of Christmas. In order.

Savage:
Speaking of the apocalypse, that morning jog made me recall the dumbest horror flick I have ever seen: "Night of the Lepus."
It was about giant killer rabbits. Really.
For some reason it keeps coming to mind as I notice my neighborhood is overrun with rabbits, some bigger than my dog.

Speaking of outrageous movies. I recently rented "Pucked" the Nat. Lampoon movie featuring Jon Bon Giovi as the fella who starts a female hockey team with multiple credit cards.
Now, I must admit, I was warned off this movie by a friend and admitedly the Natl. Lampoon label has become a curse for any movie, but since it was filmed in Guilford co. and featured shots near and dear to my heart such as the Guilford co. courthouse etc. I figured what the heck. I should have listened, but on the bright side, this movie was so...I don't want to say bad-because I want other movies to be filmed here, but yeah, I have to say bad, but on the brightside; so bad it has the potential to become a cult film like "Plan 9 From Outer Space"
My previous all time worse movie was "Mail Order Bride" (featuring a cameo by baseball player Jose Canseco in a carreer kick-starting performance) so one can see my standards are high.
