Former Councilwoman Sandy Carmany laments word that she is being drawn out of her district in the City Council's redistricting process.

She refers to this as "partisan politics". If only two council members voted against Map Q how is this partisan?

I have not had the chance yet to talk to council members about this, so I'm not sure what their thinking is. So I'll reserve comment for now.

Sandy, upon your first opportunity to vote on redistricting in 2001 did you not vote to move the College Hill precinct out of District 5 and that precinct included Bill Burckley who was the incumbent that you had defeated in a previous council election?"

If Sandy Carmany's expression of grief in being removed from her district is significant enough to post wouldn't the hypocrisy of her identical actions seven years ago be a bigger story?
