Talk about sagging pants
Is an Abercrombie and Fitch poster in a Raleigh mall more than borderline suggestive?
Probably.
But is it offensive? I don't know. It is strategically airbrushed to avoid revealing what it ought not reveal. I could think of worthier causes than campaigning for its removal.

Thirty years ago I lived in Omaha Nebraska. One day at the Westroads mall I saw a t-shirt that said, "In case of rape, this side up." I was not amused. I talked to the clerk about it and asked to speak to the department manager. The manager couldn't understand what the problem was. He thought it was funny.
I spoke to the manager of the store who explained it was a kiosk arrangement and he didn't have any authority over what was sold.
I went home, made a few calls, gathered some friends, and we managed to convince some people that the t-shirt was inappropriate.
I wonder what we could have done with the power of the internet!

I have plenty of gay friends who used the Abercrombie catelogue like you might use pornography when they were too young to buy it themselves, so perhaps this guy has a point. But it probably is a bit overboard to protest the mall with your kids.

Give me the pseudo gay porn any day over those LARP folk you had in the paper today.

Oh, admit it, Brian. You're just envious of the guy in the werepanther outfit.

I'm envious of his lack of shame. Let's face it, LARPs are the people that Trekkies think are nerds.
