Tolly Carr's new life
Former WXII anchor Tolly Carr will be released from prison in McLeansville today.
It will not be easy for him to resume his life after striking and killing a man while driving drunk two years ago.
But he has a second chance nevertheless. His victim, 26-year-old Casey Bokhoven, does not.
Part of what Carr should do now is speak to the dangers of drunken driving to young people beyond the 100 hours of community service he is ordered to provide. He has a gift as a public speaker.
And he knows firsthand that drinking while driving can leave deep and painful scars all around.

I have to speak out about this becauses Iam curious to know what going to happen to Mr Carr after he released. How is he going to fit back into society being that he is now a Convicted Felony. Is he going to beable to get a job. Funny thing happen to me Yesterday. I was applying for job I veiwed online for a Tire Installer. I go down there. Two white men are talking about some applicants are coming in to feelout some applications. But what really blew me over. He stated " we might have a Yakee come down and feel out a application. Now mind you they both walked out from the back and one said " you need a application". Wow! I still proceeded. So for Mr Carr I wish you all the Luck. Maybe I can read a Blog from you seeing you prevail. Becasue Mr Carr they are already Bashing you for not spending enough time in jail. So what do you think they are saying about a Yakee from Up north. Its sad but we live in a Systematic World were colorer is still a fact.
