Bush coming to town
If you haven't heard by now, President Bush will visit North Carolina Friday to rally support for the Central American free trade agreement.
According to our friends at the AP, the "White House confirmed Tuesday that Bush will tour the Helms plant of R.L. Stowe Mills, then make a speech on behalf of the Central America Free Trade Agreement at Gaston Community College in nearby Dallas."

Someone should ask him about the 1000 pages of International law that is in CAFTA. CAFTA is bad, maybe worse then NAFTA. Why can't we focus on keeping jobs here, helping American workers?

Bush must not be reading the local news. Given the negative impact on this area from Mafta and China's admission to the WTO, one would think that he would realize the CAFTA would be frowned upon here

Why should he care about the effects of CAFTA?
He doesn't seem to care about anything other than lining his pockets and thos of his cronies.
