That's a lot of bull ... riding money
I continue to be amazed at the shows that become the Greensboro Coliseum Complex's big money-makers.
In September, two days of professional bull-riding events netted more than $97,000. That's more than double income generated by the 10-day Central Carolina Agricultural Fair ($43,060). And it's loads money more than big-name acts Carrie Underwood ($14,587) and Chris Tucker ($8,572) made for the coliseum.
By the way, the coliseum has lost nearly $552,000 so far this fiscal year. That's slightly less than officials expected to lose ($570,000), and also less than it had lost at this point last year ($573,000).
