Roch - I cannot BELIEVE I forgot Sandy's blog. I am a loyal reader. Thanks also for pointing me to Greg's site. I'm adding both now.

Margaret,
Thanks for posting these.
Unless we just haven't stumbled across them yet, it's interesting that fewer than a fourth of the candidates have gotten around to setting up a website/blog.
Looks like the campaign season may take some time to pick up steam.
I can understand incumbents and already-well-knowns pacing themselves and strategically waiting for the right time to spring into action.
But I just can't imagine than unknowns or lesser-knowns can afford that luxury.
John Robinson made a point about candidates having a responsibility to make themselves known.
While I still think the News & Record should consider bringing earlier, greater attention to the candidates, I agree with John about candidates having their own responsibilities also.
This post definitely counts as earlier and greater coverage, and I appreciate you taking the time to set it up.
Maybe it will prompt candidates to reveal or create their own web presence.
Plus, it lets citizens know whose campaigns they can already begin exploring.
I look forward to your continued coverage!
Sincerely,
Hardy

Margaret,
Tonya Clinkscale now has a website up: http://vote4tonyaclinkscale.com/index.html.
Also, since this post is now "buried," it might help to re-post it or to create a permanent link to the list.
Sincerely,
Hardy

There are numerous inexpensive and even free ways to set up a basic web site or blog. This is 2007. It's really sad that most of the candidates have no web presence.
Hint to un-webbed candidates: Do a Google search with the terms "voters and the internet." (Oh wait, you're probably not reading this...)
