Morning roundup: jailing, smoking and parking
For discussion:
- * Smoke 'em if you got 'em, and in North Carolina chances are you got 'em.
- * The solution to jail overcrowding? Add more people - sheriff's deputies to be precise.
- * Park and ride coming to Archdale.

Cigarette users are nothing more than foul smelling druggies with bad breath who lack common sense, will power, and personal discipline - There is little difference between tobacco farmers and Latin American growers of the plant (coca) from which cocaine is derived - both cater to human weaknesses and make significant contributions to ill health and early deaths - Cigarette sellers and marketers are actually nothing more than drug pushers - Every time I see someone using one of those personal & portable oxygen tanks with the little plastic tubes running up their nose I approach them ever so quietly & politely and ask if they have a cigarette I can bum -

I still like Keith Holliday's answer to jail overcrowding.... "Cryogenic Stasis"...
The man was a Genius....

Gee Holden, how do you really feel?
Beth: Not one of Keith Holliday's best moments, but one that (a long time from now, one hopes) should be written into his obit.

Holden,
The passion for this subject shows clearly in your response. I've often thought Deuteronomy 19:21 should apply to the tobacco cartel.
It was great to learn tonight that Mike Huckabee favors a nation wide ban on smoking in the workplace. That's unheard of for a Republican to say.

Dear Holden :
Shouldn't you be out on a ledge someplace ?
