Sandy Carmany redistricted slap out of D5

The council approved new voting districts last night. Here's the new map.

And here's what former District 5 representative Sandy Carmany thinks about getting moved to District 4. I'll give you a clue: She ain't happy.

It is interesting that Ms. Carmany screens her comments before she let's it appear. I guess that she doesn't want any comments posted with which she disagrees.

I hope you're hot on the story about the conspiracy against Sandy.

Who is Sandy Carmany?

Sandy and her fan club are real quiet on this one. Maybe the N&R can ask her the question.

"This just begs that Carmany answer one question.
Sandy, upon your first opportunity to vote on redistricting in 2001 did you not vote to move the College Hill precinct out of District 5 and that precinct included Bill Burckley who was the incumbent that you had defeated in a previous council election?"

Margaret,
Be a sport and answer a brief question for me please.
If Sandy Carmany's expression of grief in being removed from her district is significant enough to post wouldn't the hypocrisy of her identical actions seven years ago be a bigger story?
I've asked Allen the same question since he also posted on this.

For heavens sake, let Sandy go. She is just
an ex-City Council person who was at the helm
of the Ship when Mitch Johson was hired and
when all of the problems started at City Hall.

Thank goodness she's gone ! Now she has
moved on to other public service duties as a
Clerk in the booming metropolis of Pleasant
Garden ! I guess she will show them how the
big City of Greensboro did things.

Let her go. I don't want to hear about her.
