A rebuttal from Akron
You knew this was coming didn't you? Akron Beacon-Journal columnist Terry Pluto (a N&R alum, by the way) has written a piece ripping Amato for his comments about Akron's ability to take non-qualifiers.

If you know Terry Pluto, tell him that is one of the funniest and appropriate columns I've ever read. I hope he likes Akron, because a piece like that will make him a favorite up there.
