Live from Bobcats Arena
Which is a very, very confusing place. Rob Daniels likened the winding halls around the press room to the arena maze scene in Spinal Tap (Cleveland Hello!) and I have to say, while Rob is sometimes a bit Spinal Tap-crazy, he's dead on here. After leaving the media eating area, I had to open four doors before I could find the work room again.
Assuming I can find my way to the court, and eventually to my seat, I'm looking forward to my first regular season look at the Tar Heels. I'll be watching to see just how fast they can push the pace and whether it can match its offensive energy with a level of defensive intensity that will keep Roy Williams happy. I'm really looking forward to watch the freshman trio of Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Brandan Wright.
Oh, and I'm also looking forward to watching Winthrop's coach, Greg Marshall. He's always a wound-up ball of intensity on the sidelines.
