Not to sound like a bitter Vandy fan ...
... because really I have no dog in this fight. But man, Georgetown got away with one - maybe two - in the final 2.5 seconds.
First, Jeff Green used two pivot feet on his last move. While that might be a great move on Dancing with the Stars, it's pretty much illegal in basketball. Green was caught in a double-team, pivoting around with his right foot. Suddenly he spun and leaped off his left foot. To do that, of course, he needed to pick up his right foot. And that, boys and girls, is the definition of a travel.
Second, as Vandy's guard, Gordon was going up the floor, he got pretty clearly bumped. Now, you'll almost never see that called and I don't blame the refs for overlooking that one. But Green's non-travel? That was sort of important don't you think?

Definitely a travel by G'town. Even if Billy Packer doesn't agree! ;-)

I also agree . A clear and flagrant travel. Commodores were robbed!!! Clark Kellogg did point it out, along with his fellow announcer that was not at courtside. They also showed repeated highlights revealing the travel. Packer never commented on it--- policy of his, I guess-- he had to have seen it. Even I did.
Vandy is destined to be robbed of their rare moments of athletic glory. Remember the football comeback that was killed because of a call of celebrating in the end zone?

I had picked Georgetown, so I'm not crying, but yeah, they got away with one. I also picked Texas A&M over Memphis -- who knows what might have happened with that extra second A&M was robbed of?

I have not been keeping up with the games but i watched that one and man. It was a good game. I agree that he did travel but sometimes the pressure is to much for the refs. But Patrick Ewing Jr. played his heart out and they won.

Brandy makes a good point. Refs are human and the pressure gets to them. Of course, when it gets to the players, they lose and don't make it to the Final Four. I would assume the officials crew in that game will suffer a similar fate.
