A black flag for Fox

No wonder it took me a while to figure out that Sunday's race at Talladega had been red-flagged. Seemed the fools in the Fox booth told the announcers not to mention it.

At least Fox has fessed up and said they goofed. Said Fox Sports CEO David Hill: "It was a stupid thing to do. I've never heard anything so ridiculous."

There is a definite black flag on the horizon if what is on Jayski is true about Krista Voda, that she could be replaced by Leann Tweeden.

So you're saying Speed could be replacing someone who knows something about racin'? with someone who doesn't?

Sounds about right for TV, which is all about the pretty pictures.

And don't get me started on Fox's TV coverage, which has me actually looking forward to the return of Benny Parsons and NBC.
