Don't bother watching the All-Star race

Humpy Wheeler has picked the winner: Jeff Gordon.

The Lowe's Motor Speedway owner has correctly guessed, er, picked, more than half of the All-Star race winners. But he hasn't nailed one in four years. So maybe you should watch.

Racing's version of pro-wrestling rules. This race lost some credibility with me a few years ago when the 1st lap crash wiped out a good portion of the field and they were allowed to all pull out their back-up cars like in F-1.

Ouch, that's twice in less a week I have acknowledged the existence of other lesser open wheel series.
