The Roush Racing of blogging

That would be these folks, who have added a sixth blog. This one, called Turn 3 (what, were Turn 1 and Turn 2 taken?), will be written by ex-Speed Channel and ex-Fox Sports talker Krista Voda, ex-NASCAR.com writer Lee Montgomery and David "Not the Busch Driver" Green.

So that begs the question: If the thatsracin.com blogs were Roush drivers, who would be who? I've got the biffleblog picked out ...

Speaking of multi-blog teams, Carrie of flashofgenius.com has set up shop at Joe Gibbs Blogging, er, AOL, along with Diecast Dude and The Scotsman.

Meanwhile, this blogging shop remains a one-car operation. No, you can't call me Ken Schrader. (That's an insult to him.)

Update, 9:40 p.m.: As Carrie pointed out in the comments, CJ has moved her site over to AOL, too. Talk about being ganged up on.

Ack! Does that make me Leffler?!

Wait, we'd be more like the Hendrick Motorsports of blogging since there are four of us, counting CJ. Unfortunately, that now makes me Shrub as opposed to Leffler.

I can't win.

You don't wanna be a future Champion, just like his big brother? Strange.

Carrie said:

Being labelled a future champ doesn't automatically guarantee he'll really ever be one. Look at Mark Martin.

Of course I'm of the mind that someone can be a champ without it being "official". Look at Mark Martin.

Beats being Leffler, unless you want to toil in the Busch Series and flop in both Cup attempts ;)

Hey John... I think we're gonna be the new Roush Racing.

Yikes! I mean, congratulations. Now I definitely know how Ricky Rudd feels.

I'll take credit (or blame) for Matt's bloggage, because I e-mailed him today suggesting that he start writing. Unless, of course, someone else suggested it. Then you can take credit (or blame).

Here's the link for those who don't like typing out URLs.

Heh. I'm not going to be so negative about everything, but this Johnson thing I felt like was something I had to get off my chest while I still had the words to phrase it. Whenever I don't have a paper to do for school I'll have a good post. You see the news of the crew chief suspended for drugs?

Carrie said:

Sad thing is you can bet it will take Darrow a lot longer and much more jumping threw hoops to get back in the game than it will take Hmiel to get back in... again.

Matt said:

I wonder what it was though? Surely a crew chief wouldn't need steriods, unless he was on the pit crew too. Maybe he was hanging out with Randy Moss.
