I noted the same story. Based on the article that said one of the Chase teams from this year would visit Indy this month my guess is it would have to be Joe Gibbs.
Everyone else in the top ten have recently expanded their operation in N. Carolina and in the case of Penske moved his IRL team south.
There is no other logical choice but Gibbs taking a peek at what Gov. Daniels is offering on the 15th.

Well of course it's Gibbs. If you knock out Hendrick, Roush, Evernham and Penske, it's the only one left.
But I'd be surprised if Gibbs moved north because he'd lose most of his staff. As soon as the word got out that Gibbs was going, all of the other teams would start cherry-picking people on the fence about moving north.
It's one thing for Tony Stewart to live in Indiana and fly down to the shop a couple of times a week. It's another thing for a guy (or woman) with family, friends, children and roots to pick up and leave like that.
You know the guy who would take that deal? Robby Gordon.

I doubt if Gibbs would move myself as for Robbie... he needs all the help he can get. But I'm afraid any potential engine deal he may have with DEI or Indiana tax breaks won't cure all the DNS's and DNF's from 2005.

In Robbie's case, I'm thinking more along the lines that an Indy HQ might help him race open-wheel, too, in addition to stock cars.

I don't think Robby would consider it. He just took out a lease on or bought (I forget which) some of the surrounding property around his race shop. That and I don't think he's got the dough to re-locate all his employees LOL.
