Darlington
One of the better races of the year is Saturday, and I'm going to miss it, darnit.
One of these days I'll see a race there before the Cup guys go somewhere else. Have any of you seen a race there, Cup or otherwise? How does it stack up against other tracks you've been to?
Y'all need to spam up the comments - I won't be back here till Monday, and I don't feel like future posting to pretend that I'm actually at work today and tomorrow.
If you'd rather, go click on some of the links to the right. There are some fine bloggers over there you need to be reading regularly. Have at it, and see you next week.

Let's see, this is the 4th favorite track on the circuit after Bristol, Martinsville, and Richmond. My 5th and 6th choices have being sitting idle for some time now in Wilkes County and down in Rockingham.
Back on on prior strand, John I know that California has more seats than Darlington, but I could have sworn that during CA week back in February that someone on SpeedChannel commented that CA has not been a sellout for sometime, for either the February race or the Labor Day race.
And I agree with the post either on Nascar.com or Jayski, I forget where I read it today, that if there is to be only 1 race per year at Darlington, it should be the Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend. Much like Stafford Springs has coined a phrase that I repeat to you every year, Darlington could have one that says "the Greatest Race in the History of".... you insert the last word.
