Still mad

I told myself I wouldn't do it, but I watched video of Sunday's race last night from every which way - bumper cam, windshield cam, camera cam.

You know which part I mean.

I'm still hacked. What an idiotic move.

You know, I'm not one for violence. If I were a crew chief, I wouldn't tell my driver to go git that sunovabeach that turned ye last Sunday.

But you know, I'm not going to not cheer if a certain Chevy driver ends up pointing the wrong way Saturday night. And I wouldn't blame someone for making that happen.

Just sayin'.

Update #1: I guess I'm the only one who's still mad. Junior apparently still isn't. From Dustin Long's blog: I was really happy for Vickers to win. I was surprised that he placed the blame where he did, being that he was behind us. You know, it was like bowling there on the back straightaway, with us being the pins. He won the race and he's got a lot to be proud of. I think he does have an apology or two for Jimmie. ... I don't think he owes me one.

I still can't believe Jimmy Johnson pulled down like that either on the last lap.

Hey J.J. even reviewed the tapes and says “I actually feel it was a racing incident. I hate that we missed an opportunity, but it wasn’t intentional.”

Retribution, what retribution? There won't be any, not everyone hates Vickers.

I am not a Jr. or a Johnson fan, but Vickers win is completely tainted by his bonehead move. While he clearly was not ready for J.J.'s slingshot, he NEVER should have tried to follow him and should have accepted a third place finish. Yes it was a mistake, but Vickers never took reponsiblity for his inferior driving and instead tried to place the blame on Johnson. Johnson and Jr. are better people then I am because I would've happily punched him in face after the race.

I am happy to know that I am not the only one that is still ticked off. And I wish I could have been there to punch his lights out. Not the most lady-like and mature thing to say but at least I'm not phoning in death threats to the kid. That is beyond insanity in my opinion.

I'm thrilled that Junior made it through last night's fiasco of a race and had an awesome finish. Next up is another nail bitter....Martinsville!

I am so glad to hear from another female that they were just as angry as I am about Vickers. But I hadn't heard about the death threats....come on boys, even I know that "Rubbin' Is Racin"...thats what makes this sport so much darn fun!!

Don't worry, I'm with ya. I still think Brian whatshisface is a big ol punk. And I don't even like Junior or Johnson.
