Chili Bowl

The folks here might disagree, but the best racing this week is actually here. This site promises live Webcasts.

These clips will give you an idea of what you're missing if you're not in Tulsa this week.

Has anyone actually been to the Chili Bowl? What's it like? Other than LOUDER THAN HECK and dusty, that is.

I believe Tony Stewart has competed in the Chili Bowl in recent history; I'm not sure if that is where he broke his wrist or not.

My guess would be J. Gordon, Kahne, Newman, and a few others have wandered through Tulsa this time of year as well.

You sure Tony didn't eat a big Chili Bowl instead of competing in one?

Tony Stewart is a past champion.

Best I can tell, he wasn't eating while driving. It's too hard to take those turns if you've got a spoon in one hand and a hot bowl of chili in the other. (Mmmmm, chili.)

And, yes, this is where Stewart got hurt last year. I've seen reports that say he broke his wrist and others where he didn't. There's no doubt he got banged up, but the broken wrist reports appear incorrect.
