Meaning the Super Bowl. Not a classic game, not one of the best, but one of the better first halves. If you're a Colts fan or a Manning fan, it's a satisfying result. If you're a Bears fan ... thanks for playing!
But now we get down to the real business of sports: racin'. The Bud Shootout is Saturday - just five days from now - and the real Super Bowl is two weeks from yesterday. Man, where did the time go? And who am I going to pick to win it all in 2007?

Being born and raised in the Windy City, I am a die hard Bears fan, but to be honest I did not expect the Bears to Win! And true to most Chicago Teams, the Bears did not fail to surprize me! This years Bears were not the 85 Bears by any stretch!!
But I digress and agree...it has been a long winter and my need for speed has been kept dry long enough! Bring on the 2007 Racin' Season!
Toyota, Montoya, COT, Trouble at DEI, New Chase Format, More points for winning...man, it is about time to stop talking about it, lets do this thing!!
Hmmmm, who to pick who to pick...Stewart is a good one, or maybe a repeat by JJ...or even a win for JR in what could be his last run for DEI would be neat! Right now I don't care...I need to hear the words...Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!!!
Any word if NASCAR is going to do anything for BP or Hamilton Sr. before the 500?

I am also from Chicago...and i DID expect them to win. But this is a NASCAR board...so lets get on with it.
If any of you are actually going down to Daytona for the 500, I have something for ya. A buddy of mine and I do a podcast where we discuss the big sporting events around the country and give some good travel tips for fans going to the event.
