What a shame.

It looks like there's more business as usual on the way to the City Council table if his endorsement translates into end results at the ballot box.

What happened to my previous entry? First I saw
it, and now I don't.

It's the lte's in today's paper. Mine is not listed in
the online section of the lte's.

"Pic 3", review/endorsment. We're now playing political lottery.

I must say, though, that your last comment makes a difference. Yes, even though you have made
your choices, the voters have a good selection
to make.

"Pic 3", a gamble with this city's future.

MARIKAY ABUZUAITER, a wife, a mother, a
professional businesswoman. Not one to make
irrational decisions, or spontaneous ones at that.
Clearly, a "talented candidate," for the top six. I
think she'll make it. She has what it takes, without
having to make promises.

GREG WOODARDD, a war veteran, a community
activist, another "talented candidate." He may not
have the financial or political backing, and/or the
influence back slapping of high places. But he has the heart and soul of soldier who is on a mission. A mission to make a difference that he fought for overseas, and for his country. That he and others like himself, can come home to a city with the quality of life, that ALL should deserve. He doesn't live in District Three. He lives in District One.You know, the district that is always forgotten when capital improvements are handed out. The district that lays sprawled south of the railroad tracks Yeah, that one.

These two "talented candidates" deserves the nod
of being strong contenders. Remember, the last
election, a newcomer came in and took the pro-
tem seat.

I agree with you that the selection is very viable.
But I think the citizens want a change. A strong
change.

We'll see. Go figure..."Pic 3." Will it be a winner?

Marikay Abuzuaiter has my vote! What Greensboro needs is someone who has a positive vision for Greensboro: someone who embraces people from all walks of life, all races, all religions, and all ethnicities without prejudice or personal agenda.

We need someone with new insight who can put forth new ideas, who can be open-minded. We need someone who will make well-researched decisions and who will have the strength to stand-up for every taxpayer's rights.

In her 33 years as a citizen of Greensboro, Marikay Abuzuaiter has proven that she has these qualities.

I encourage you to consider what a resourceful and energetic person like Marikay Abuzuaiter can do for our community and give her your vote in the October 9, 2007 primary and in the November 6, 2007 election!

Sincerely,

Mary C. Sanders
