Clinkscale's our slight favorite over Falls in District 1

Our endorsement today of Tonya Clinkscale in District 1, with a nod to Luther Falls Jr. as well.

Tomorrow: District 3, another close call.

Edward Bruce Keohohou said:

I believe that District One needs a new council
representative. And with that said, it should be
Tonya Clinkscale.

Ms. Clinkscale, is not beholden to special interest
groups. Those groups who implodes racial alien-
ation and discrimination. That brings about dis-
harmony, that history can only repeats itself. She
is a 21st century leader, with a strong wise mind,
and a heart that an ekg machine will go off its'
chart, to insure that the objectives that she will lay
out for her constituency, is in line of a single
heartbeat.

Ms. Clinkscale's motives for seeking office is pure
and simple. That the incumbent, has done nothing to show, what the incumbent claims she
has done.

And speaking about the incumbent. Ms. Bellam-
Smalls, near the end of each council meeting,
spews off all the things she had done within the past few weeks, where she went, whom she spoke to, and so on, and so on, and so on! Ms.
Bellamy-Smalls makes all these claims, which to
her benefit, in a way that makes the people in her
district, think that she had done a lot for the district.

Ms. Bellamy-Smalls, so called "list of accomplish-
ments," to me, are like a "deposit slip," without
making the deposit. We look around in the district
and we haven't seen anything that her list of
accomplishments claim that was done.

Ms. Clinkscale will be responsible for her actions,
and not passing it off, to the "other people." She
believes in working together will all counterparts of this community. Not holding a "royal court", whenever she feels she wants an audience.

In seeing one of Ms. Clinkscale's political ads in
the Greensboro Times, she states, that if she is a
ineffective representative, she will step down.
Now how bold can anyone be?

We, the people of the District One, should embrace a new era in leadership. We, the people of District One, must step up to the plate, and come to the table with solid ideas, a working plan,
a termed plan.

Next year, the City of Greensboro, will be cele-
brating it's 200th anniversary. It's about time we
start commencing into the years ahead.

Thank you very much for allowing me, to bring this to the table.
