Yes, he should boycott. As a matter of fact: every American should boycott the entire olympics in person and on television in support of those who are enslaved and oppressed by China.

No! But that does not mean the United States should not express itself in other ways! Perhaps a better way is for the public to reduce its purchases of Chinese made goods and show displeasure with US companies who import from China! That would have a far greater impact!

Asking the President to embarass our athletes when the public will not stand up to the plate is just citizen arrogrance! Perhaps the public should boycotte firecrackers this July 4th! I suspect most are made in China!

No. He should attend in support of our atheletes. The olympics should not be a political pawn to produce anger or resentment on several levels. Also, the British Prime minister is not attending as a protest, but because he had not intended to go to the opening ceremony, but to the olympics instead. Or, so he said.
